This is the main Sports Cage which includes everything from the factory bar forward to the dash and it fits hard tops or soft tops. Dash brackets are mounted to the bolt below your dome light switch and the 2 bolts above the switch. All Sport Cages are complete bolt-in, you do not remove any of the factory sport cage to install our unit! This means no drilling, no welding. The Sports Cage fits Soft and Hardtops. Comes in 3 pieces, all hardware is included and comes unpainted.
Parts Included with this kit:
• The top T-section
• Windshield side bars with handles
• Bar across the dash
All connections to the factory bars are with ½" thick CNC machined clamping collars, with six- 5/16 x 1" grade 8 socket head cap screws. All tubing is 1-3/4 x .120 wall.
Notice that the Sport Cage does not affect the factory windshield mounting, sun visors or top latches. The windshield can still be folded down.
Handles do not block your vision. These pictures taken from drivers view.
Top View Shows Front Top Bar & 2 Center Bars w/a 14 Gauge Plate Between Them. We do this for strength and for the off road enthusiast that wishes to install a CB radio or a DOME LIGHT. Angled rear bars tie the whole SPORTS CAGE together. (Angled bars cannot be used with the factory speaker bar.)

Optional Components
Rear Angle Bars (RH1001-A) cannot be used with sound bar unless you trim the sound bar as shown in the pics to the left.
This optional padding kit (RH1001-TP) covers the top tee section bars and is made of 1/2" thick firm foam with a high quality canvas covering. The covers are attached to the bars using velcro.
This pic show what the padding for the Dash Bar (RH1001-DP) looks like. This pad cannot be used if using Billet Handles.
This pic shows what our optional padding for the Angle Bars (RH1001-AP) look like. This pad is to be used without sound bars 97-02 or on 03 and 04 sound pods.
For greater protection, we offer optional Floor Brackets (RH1001-D) that mounts behind the dash, extends down to the floor and threw the drain hole. A 7/8"grade 8 bolt and a large washer secures this bracket below the floor.
For maximum protection, we offer Frame Mount Brackets (RH1001-E) that mounts with 7/8"grade 8 bolt to the floor mount and extends to the frame with a bushing at the frame for flex. Two 1/2" holes will have to be drilled in the frame to mount the bushing bracket.
