This is a Factory Style Sports Bar for your 1955-75 Jeep CJ-5.
You must use this Sports Bar in order to install our Main Cage. The Main Cage cannot be installed on an OEM roll bar. All Sport Cages are complete bolt-in, you do not remove any of the factory sport cage to install our unit! This means no drilling, no welding. The Sports Cage fits under Soft Tops. All hardware is included.
All connections to the Jeep CJ5 factory bars are with ½" thick CNC machined clamping collars, with six- 5/16 x 1" grade 8 socket head cap screws. All tubing is 1-3/4 x .120 wall.

Top view of main Sports Cage shows front top bar & 2 center bars w/a 14 gauge plate between them. We do this for strength and for the off road enthusiast that wishes to install a CB radio or a DOME LIGHT. Angled rear bars tie the whole SPORTS CAGE together.
Dash brackets are mounted with the 4 bolts at the Jeep CJ5 door post on both sides. Note the clean looking dash mounted windshield frame with handles to help you get in and out. The crossbar just above the dash is for extra strength!
